Change To Final Day Of Round 1---please Read

Seems like no one is really fond of having 1 last game on this day to decide the winner, especially those who are tied up. So I have decided to amend my initial rules.

This last day, EVERYONE will cap both the CAA and WCC finals, giving you two games to submit picks for this evening. ALSO, for the tie-breaker, you will submit a guess for the total score of the champpionsihp game of the bracket you were originally assigned to.

As an example:

The Poet and Skinsraj28 are both tied. Instead of both just picking the CAA championship game, they will submit picks for both the CAA and WCC final. As their tiebreaker in case both are tied, they will submit a guess for the total of the CAA championship game (as they have been capping that tournament).

Hopefully this appeases everyone and increases the probability of not everyone being on the same side of the games.

I am very disappointed in this change. I believe this benefits those that are behind. Why should someone be rewarded for being behind. The advantages should go to the person who is in front. This makes no sense imo. The only ones making noise is those that are tied or behind. If tied, one game should decide it. If behind, gives them opportunity to actually win without going to a tiebreaker. IMO the rules that started the contest are the one that we should go by. Changing the day of when people are to advance is bs imo.

The only reason you like it as you get to try to redeem yourself with a 2-5-1 record (26%) pathetic showing. I think you have already been shut up win or lose with that pitiful performance. No way you should be rewarded. Basically you are on life support and this rule change gives you life which is not fair. Basically Gyno has won the contest barring a miracle and he should not be punished for this rule change on top of your embarrassing perfomance.:lol:

It is what it is. I was disappointed when the CAA people only got to do two games on Saturday (it was the right thing to do) because I had Georiga State and Drexel locked in, and would have gone 3-1 and might be tied with CF or maybe the lead. I jokingly thought to myself "watch Ga St and Drexel cover" and they both did with relative ease.

I have no excuses for my 26% effort as well. George Mason has buttfucked me royally throughout the CAA tournament. If this makes me a bad capper, then so be it. Either way this was a GREAT idea by Dseth and Teazeman and whether I win or lose I had a great time in this contest against a great capper in CF. Best of luck the rest of the way to the particpants.

Holy shit I got the total right for the Mason/VCU game, said 124 with a 65-59 final. At least I got something to be happy about.
